I AM OZZY (2010-08-22) : 5/5
I am not a reader not someone that has to have a book to read all the time in fact maybe once in a couple of years would I find something to read. However this book
"I AM OZZY" I could not put down, this book will have you lauaghing crying it is just crazy. I highly recomend this book to any one not just a Black Sabbath fan or an Ozzy fan any one because it is just great reading.
One of the funniest books I have ever read (2010-08-20) : 5/5
This book gives a lot of insight into Ozzy's life and is very interesting. The book is hilarious and the man is lucky to be alive with all of his substance abuse and antics. Highly recommended!
Love Ozzy but this book is a bore for a true Ozzy fanatic (2010-08-17) : 3/5
I have to start by saying I love Ozzy, I always have. I have seen him countless times live, I own every studio and live album he ever put out with Black Sabbath and solo, you might say I have been a fanatic for years. Which might explain why this book bored me so much. I am familiar with every story in the book and have seen/heard them countless times either in print in magazines or in interviews done by the Ozzman on the radio.
There were a few moments where I did find myself laughing out loud which is why I am giving this book 3 stars as opposed to 2.
If you are new to the world of Ozzy Osbourne then this book is a great place to learn about the history of Ozzy Osbourne but on the flip side if you are a 35+ years fan like myself of Black Sabbath and Ozzy you've probably already seen or heard all that this book has to say.
Plus it's written with an extremely British flair, you might want to get an American English to British dictionary if you are unfamiliar with the Brits slang terms.
Love ya Ozzy and I hope you live another 60 years, just stick to music from now on.
He is Ozzy! (2010-08-10) : 5/5
Simply put - one of the best books I have ever read. Extremely truthful, and very well written. I never followed Ozzy or Black Sabbath. I was raised in the 80's on Rick Springfield, REO Speedwagon, etc. I was not ever into heavy metal. I picked this book up in the library and I remember how much my brother loved him. I could not put this book down once I started it. My husband, who never reads, read most of it as well. Ozzy is honest about his life, and I appreciate any human who admits that he has regrets. It is a wonderful book, and I highly recommend it even if you only have a passing notion (like I did) of the person you thought Ozzy was.
Excellent book! (2010-07-19) : 5/5
I bought this book out of slight curiosity and ended up being addicted to it! I couldn't put it down. This book is well written and Ozzy's life is very interesting. Highly recommended!!
