This is an excellent resource for the graduate classes I am taking on-line. I can look up anything I need in the table of contents. I will find examples of how to cite references, it explains what an abastract is, it helps with grammar, and so much more.
The index is poor. (2010-07-27) : 3/5
Because this is acts as a reference work, you would expect it to contain a thorough index. This was not the case, and I found myself having to flip through the entire manual to find the information I needed. Granted, it is not very long, but this is frustrating if you have a quick style questions and have to spend significant time trying to find an answer.
APA 6th edition (2010-07-25) : 5/5
The APA sixth edition is a must. Improved over the fifth edition. It is written in a style with more clear and concise explanations. Don't buy the fifth edition!
APA 5th ed Publication Manual (2010-07-25) : 5/5
I needed this book to assist me with the writing of college papers. The only copy I had became lost in a move to a new house. I bought this book and received it much earlier than expected.
Easy to find/get (2010-07-24) : 5/5
I dont use Amazon alot because they do sell items used for dog fighting, and I am a member of the Greg Biffle Foundation for Mistreated Animals....
However, as a Grad. Student, my education and getting my books cheap, alters my heirarchey of needs a bit.
This book was easy to buy and receive, mail was a bit slow, but other than that it was positive transaction and I would use it again.
The book was in perfect shape and very reasonably priced. Could have gotten locally for $5.00 more, a drive to the book store, and standing in line while some doof funbles for their money. I simply clicked and it arrived....Magic!
Will use this service again in the future to buy other books for school.
